1400 dollars (new) for a pair of short XLR cables. Wonder how much it
would cost to equip the recording studio with these?

Of course some might wonder how the signal survives going through what
could be miles in total of ordinary XLR cables when making the record,
etc, but benefits from these on the home system...

Slightly more than it would cost to pay off the Italian state debt. Cheap at
half the price.
