Anyone got any advice about decent quality hearing aids in the UK?
The wife has pestered me long enough so I need to get something.

HF hearing loss, difficulty in understanding speech in noisy environments,
the usual old bloke stuff caused by too many rock concerts and riding
without earplugs.

I'd expect that noise-cancellation, custom frequency response,
compression and peak level limiting are available.
Or do I need a pair of Etymotic earbuds and a Behringer digital sound
processor in a rucksack?
