At Ronnie Barker's funeral the coffin as it processed up the aisle had just
three candles on it at the corners. Took a moment for the congregation,
many of whom were from show business, to twig the joke - then roars of
laughter, which might not normally be appropriate for a funeral but I am
sure Mr Barker would have appreciated it. Shades of the old RAF "lost
pilot" formation.
