Default Anyone recognise this ?

Hi all

Anyone recognise this tonearm ? A friend picked up a Thorens deck, and this
was with it in a shoebox. No markings on it that I can see, and not one that
I recognise or even remember seeing before.

Afraid not - but parts remind me of Dual arms. Perhaps suggesting
Germanish origin?

Been wrong before etc.

It seems a rather more 'complex' arm than most of the Duals that I've seen,
but I'm no expert on phono decks and arms. I just mend the things when they
go wrong ... :-)

It's a Thorens TP16, possibly Mk IV.

I think the counter weight is different on a Mk1, but I'm sure Arfa can
google from this point on....
