Nottingham turntable came with a vial of oil as you specify... What
about ringing them up and asking if you can purchase some? The
telephone number I use is( 0)1773 762947. The post address I have is

Not Technics, but I see that Linn are quite particular about which oil
goes in which type of bearing. It appears that they have used 2 different
liners, and one of the oils (that they supply!) will partially disolve it
into a sticky goo.

It might be as well to try to find the correct oil - if it's still
available. It probably won't be as expensive as printer ink.
