Nice to see all those BTR2s. For once they made a reasonable fist of
re-creating a period recording studio.

There might be pictures, etc, but getting the correct equipment for use in
a TV prog can be very difficult or even impossible.

There are and firms which hire it out too. But the majority gets scrapped.
I remember seeing EMT turntables and studio 1/4" machines going in the
skip - no one wanted them, even for free. A few years down the line they
fetch silly money.

The EMT's do theres a 78 RPM bunch at our local community radio station
which speak about them in hushed tones and reverence.

One of them paid ISTR £2K for one not so long ago;!...
