Default Hi Fi / audio forum choice?

I'm not a fan of 'forums' but given the impression that few people now use
newsgroups or indeed email lists I'm wondering if it is worth trying one
that is UK focussed and aimed at audio / Hi Fi. Hoping to get more info for
things like tracking down the documents / info I seek these days.

Someone has suggested the 'Pink Fish' forum. It does seem to have a UK
feel, and is apparently moderated. Many of the posters regstered as
'traders' have co.uk addresses, but I'm not sure where it is based. (Seems
for some reason to show times in GMT -7. Weird if it isn't a USA forum, but
maybe a setup slip or a flaw in the forum engine software.)

Anyone use it or can suggest an alternative which might be better as one
for me to try out? Or already use 'Pink Fish' and think it OK?

Jim

The Vinyl Engine is an excellent source of manuals and so on, and they
seem to have a busy forum:
