Even by Hi-Fi snake oil gadgets standards, this one is quite baffling

his own claptrap. OK here is a good one for you. Remove earth connection from my Rogers Cadet and replace it by a 1 meg restore. Then use the earth from a vintage graphic equaliser SEA10 by JVC to earth the system. Result halving of the 50 hz buzz. I only want 200 quid for this half watt 1 meg resistor. grin.
