Jimmy Hughes still writes for Hi Fi magazines and still has some unusual
recommendations on how to change the sound of your hi-fi. He works as he
always has in a Camera shop as writing for hi-Fi mags does not pay the
bills. As a member of Nag-Fi we see him a couple of times a year when he
usually brings along the latest gizmo he has been asked to review. The
tweaks you mention are early Peter Belt suggestions

Ah Peter Belt, Stirs vague memories. IIRC JH was into mains tweeking and
PB into digital watch bans etc.
