I'm certain it was M-Crew that screwed mine up too but cos it was less than
30 days old they agreed to a replacement.
but unless there is an upgrade to the software it's not going to be any
better.
Also my friend has one of the older LH1000 models and that has gone the same
way although that was always a bit flaky.
If only the PC drivers gave access to the disc then you could back it up
easily and save a lot of hassle

Haven't heard a dickie-bird since mid-November. I'm going to shout at
them when I get around to it.
I insisted on repair instead of replacement and made it clear that
unless they tell me what was wrong with it and what they fixed I won't
be accepting it back, or a new one with the same design fault.
I think the software is probably to blame, so no amount of repair will
help. The fact that you have had the same issue adds weight to my
fears.
