Exact Audio Copy is better. http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
HRYK ... although EAC does have some issues w/ support for recent
drives, and may also require some configuration tweaking to work
correctly (or work at all!) on some Win2K or WinXP systems. Having
said that, for bit-perfect extraction from audio CDs on Windoze PCs,
EAC is by far the best tool available (and all it costs is a postcard
to its author!)
I find the interface a lot more pleasing than Audiograbber's, and
haven't experienced any of the configuration tweaks you speak of. For
ripping "copy protected" "CDs", however, one has to switch to burst mode.
