Sheesh! It must be about ten years since I bought any - I used to buy that

and
Sony Metal-XR in 10-packs on sale specials - and recently when I looked,

they
seemed absurdly overpriced - in fact, looking now, RRP NZD$9.95 EACH!

That's about GBP£3.66! ... if 59p is a bargain, what's the "normal" price?
I see Richer Sounds has TDK SA90 (Pack of 100) for £59.00 - is that it?

Richer Sounds have always sold cheap tapes and 59p seems pretty much their
regular price for TDK SA90's, however, they don't always have then in stock.
My branch gets its deliveries on Tuesdays and they got a delivery of 400
tapes last week. I bought 20 tapes for just £11.80. The tape has had
brilliant write ups over the years and for 59p is impossible to fault.

What do they sell 10-packs (or singles) for, in comparison?
No way I'd buy 100 ... I suppose you could club in with some others.

No, you can buy them in any quantity you choose. I'm not too sure what the
shipping cost to NZ would be, I've just weighed ten tapes and with packing
it would be about 750-800g.
Perhaps someone here might know?

I'm not too sure what you would pay for a SA90 in NZ but it may well be
worth sending some over to you.

Not while people still have tape collections and car players are not all

CD's.
A friend has recently loaned me his Sony WM-D6C to have a play with ...
It seems to do better than the RX80ES, and it's a fricking (pro)Walkman!
RdM (in nz, not zn)

Yep, tapes are so much more fun than coasters ;-)
