Thanks for the advice but I already have a matching pair of Lecsons -
they're so unusual I grab any I can even if only for spares/bits/ ;-)

Ah! Got you! That makes good sense! (I've got to stop automatically
thinking people don't know what they're doing.....!!!)

The coloured bands under the sliders on the pre- fade and scratch over time,
the one he's selling looks quite clean... Even if it's a non-runner I can
use the cosmetic bits - they're the hardest to find anyway!
