I've had my Gyro SE for a few months now and I love it. However, I have
managed to get finger marks in a couple of places (mainly on the
counter-weights under the platter). I was just wondering what people
here
use to clean this and other decks.
The other problem (until I get a new stand and a clearcover - the
current
one being too small to take the cover) is dust. I am using a unicover
which helps prevent dust getting on the platter but it still gets to the
armtube of the technoarm I am currently using. I dust this regularly
(and
carefully) but was wondering if anyone has any further tips for avoiding
dust.
Thanks for any help on this folks.
Surgical spirit works well in removing old greasy finger marks from polished
metal surfaces. But it can also take off paint, so it should be used with
care.
