Default Pioneer Turntable Mains Question

In message , Cassidy
writes
Hi anyone who's reading,

I've got a Pioneer turntable with an AC input plug that's designed to
be plugged into the back of the amp. Unfortunately my Pioneer amp
doesn't have a corresponding mains out socket. Is there any way I can
get an adapter to plug the turntable into the mains? I don't suppose
that a standard 'universal adapter' from Dixons wil do the trick?

Thanks in advance,

Cassidy.

Is this just the old American two-pin plug (flat pins)?. In which case,
all you have to worry about is if the TT is 230V or 115V.

If 230V then just stick a UK mains plug on the cord.

It may just be a low-voltage feed but I doubt it very much. Does the TT
have a label stating the voltage?
