I have upgraded my tuner, the Quad FM4 has been replaced by a
Magnum Dynalab Etude, its recently been replaced by the MD100 so
its out of date already.
Would you mind me asking how much your FM4 tuner would be worth on
the second-hand market in the UK? I have tried without success to
buy an FM tuner here in New Zealand for about 5 years now they are
rarer than hens teeth here.
My Quad 34/405 amp is celebrating its 20 birthday this year and
still going strong and I would like to get the tuner to go with it.

You can get a second hand Quad FM4 tuner from £200 to £300
depending where you buy it, if it is din or phono and its colour
The other thing that makes a big differeance is has it had its back
up battery replaced?
early ones leak and can cause lots of damage.

That well-known Norfolk supplier isn't exactly known for low prices
though!
At the last NVCF at the N.E.C there were a couple for sale at around
£150
Very true, but you know that its been checked, tested and any problems and
you can send it back.
Ebay can also be top prices, and most from there are as seen, or if its not
working they say "ok when i sent it"
