Default New Toy FM Tuner

In article , tony sayer

Be interesting to measure the old LEAK and see what its capable of up
against some more modern equipment?....

I've not measured it, but I have run a scope, etc, over the old Leak
Troughline mono tuner I have. Showed an alarming amount of leakage of both
the stereo diff and IF components emerging from the audio. The selectivity
is also a bit on the wide side for my taste, although not flat enough to
make adding a stereo decoder worthwhile without a lot of fiddling with the
IF.

Still have the tuner, but don't use it at all. Prefer the Yamaha, Quad,
etc.

Slainte,

Jim
