Why a joke? Seems like the perfect in-car source to me.



It's a joke full stop. It has the same problem as MD in that it uses a
proprietary coding, and it does not have removable media. The battery
life is laughable, and there are already reports of failed hard disks.
To have to take the whole unit to your PC to add tracks is a joke.

The whole thing is a triumph of marketing over fitness-for-use.
