That track was not the best by far, if you liked that, you'll like

this
better:

(Only ****e 128MP3s I'm afarid, I'll be re-ripping this at 192 or 256
sometime soon...)

Whoa! That happy little ditty is definitely a keeper. I'm going
searching down the record shops in Soho tomorrow.

She has that Scandinavian thing of not knowing when an "s" should
sound like a "z". The Abba girls did it too. Their ignorance of the
finer nuances of spoken English is quite disgraceful ;-)

Yeah terrible ain't it - like Bjork's soft 'g's sounding like 'j's...!!

:-)

OK, by way of pushing the 'Pipex Webspace Barrier', here (with a bit of
luck) are a couple more from another Nordic Siren - Virna Lindt's

'Shiver':

Off the vinyl this time and not quite as 'modern' as she would have us
believe - 1984 - so I bet she's an old dear now.....

(Re-issued though, I believe...)

Mmmmm no, I don't think I will be chasing down Virna, just a bit too
avant-garde for me.

Avante-Garde - that old biddy??

See:

and check out Strawberry Switchblade! (English version, sadly not ready
yet - so we can only guess....!! :-)

OK, so you'll not be wanting to hear Lena Willemark and Ale Moller (the
'Bouzouki Man From Malmo') on "Agram"

http://www.mybestlife.com/music/Willemark.htm

(Let's push this sodding Pipex envelope a bit with another track - here's a
*very* nice little taster from Lena Willemark:

http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/keit...t%20Stomar.mp3 )

Or, these albums "Coming Soon" :-

Howzabout summat litesome (in a "pre-Wagnerian Rhinegold curse" sorta
way..... :-) - "Edda - Myths From Medieval Iceland" by Sequentia then...???

http://www.sequentia.org/press.html

If not, maybe the "Gallaecia Fvlget" by Milladoiro will be more to your
taste? (Reputedly *very big* on bits of inflated goat and penny
whistles....)

(Watch this space!! :-)
