"Triffid" pointed out...
It is not a digital cassette recorder.
Yep - I know that . . . having gone out for a minidisc initially I bought
this thing . . .
You have to get the music on a pc
somehow and then upload it into the player.
I was hoping I could coy across the albums I already have - but they aren't
MP3 . . .
I would have thought that the software supplied might have been capable of
this.
Just drivers on there - Me & XP don't take anything off the disc.
The line-in is for voice recording a lá dictaphone.
Um - no, that's the built-in mic. Works quite well ( I used it during my
class last night)
Your machine seems to have been superceded by
the FOL-10 btw. Tomorrow, the FOL-12 will probably be announced.
Now, that would not surprise me in the least!
Anyhow, one of the simpler ways of getting music into the thing might be
Musicmatch (www.musicmatch.com ) which hap a very capable MP3 encoder and
is
quite 'user-friendly', although the full version requires a small payment.
I've lost faith with it now because it hasn't really been developed for
years and is more focussed on making money out of you than it was.
Ta - I have visited & downloaded. I'll browse & try to figure it all out.
Cheers!
