Keith G's new amp

I went round to Keith's yesterday and heard the ch*nky amp for myself and
in summary I *really* liked it.
I'm not hugely experienced at auditioning equipment and don't really know
the lingo to describe what I hear but I'll have a go.
It was clear (open?), controlled (clean?), the bass was very good
considering the speakers and it was far louder than I could ever need at
home.
But what was most important to me was that I liked it and it made me smile
to hear some of my CDs through it.
Yes I would rather have something like his WAD amp if I had a choice but
by (hopefully!) getting one of these Dynovox amps I don't feel
dissapointed or like I'm just making do.

That's what its all about - you don't have to be an 'expert' to listen to
music whatever some folks say. You saying 'it made me smile to hear some of
my CDs through it' was enough, you really enjoyed the music Period. I
listening to one 'purists' system last year and I thought it didn't sound
right - the reason I was told was due to copper speaker cables tarnish - and
he didn't live by the sea either) Geeez.
