Default Keith G's new amp

I went round to Keith's yesterday and heard the ch*nky amp for myself and
in summary I *really* liked it.

I'm not hugely experienced at auditioning equipment and don't really know
the lingo to describe what I hear but I'll have a go.
It was clear (open?), controlled (clean?), the bass was very good
considering the speakers

(Wharfedale 8.2s - not the deepest bass in the audio world....)

and it was far louder than I could ever need at home.

How else can you play Björk remixes?? :-)

But what was most important to me was that I liked it and it made me smile
to hear some of my CDs through it.
Yes I would rather have something like his WAD amp if I had a choice but
by (hopefully!) getting one of these Dynovox amps I don't feel
dissapointed or like I'm just making do.

Glad you enjoyed it (I did and I know SN did too) - I didn't think we'd
played anything much on the WAD amp??? If you are referring to the 'extra
splashy rain' on the Chris Rea that was the Triode amp???

You might be interested to know that the chinky amp's on the B&Ws (aka the
'Woolly Mammoths') now and it's quite a lot better - must be, I'm listening
to CDs!!! ;-)
