Thanks. The problem with that is, to use it I would have to have a TV
attached. I need something that I can use the CD display with.

I've got an Arcam DV88 DVD player that I use as my main CD player, and you
can operate most functions without a television. The only thing you can't
do is program track selections (easily - you can do it if you remember in
which order to press the buttons!).

It certainly plays MP3s, although I can't think why you'd want to if you've
got a "Full Size HI FI" system!
