I have won a couple of bets in restaurants correctly identifying wines. Only as
far as the grape type
How difficult is this? I would think a Cab and a Carmenere are pretty easy to
identify - which are the other 'obvious' grapes, or are they all obvious when
you know them? I don't see how they could have confused Carmenere with Merlot
for so long in Chile - Carmenere is such a distinctive grape (Incidentally
could you recommend any good bottles of it?) Andy.
