Any quick opinions on the Bose Lifestyle 35 anyone.

I'm looking at buying a very neat and compact Hi-Fi with home theatre
capability and most important... small speakers (need to keep wife off the
case!). The Bose system seems to fit the bill nicely but having never had a
Bose before I was wondering are they any good? Reliable? decent sound in an
ordinary room (as opposed to a test room)?


Bose have a reputation for being nicely styled, overpriced and giving
mediocre-to-fair performance.

But if small size and looks are paramount, I guess you're stuck in
that market sector ;-(
