since when was better a subjective term. it requires a context.

Better is a subjective term, think about it, if it requires a context,
then how can it be objective ?

If its meaningless without a context, it must be objective as you must
supply a context.

I contend that without a context, better on its own is meaningless.

Ie. "Brussells sprouts are better".
