Default Damaged AV amp - repair advice please

"Gary Brunsdon" wrote in message

sherwood rd6103: recently i had some friends round and my son
pulled over one of my speakers, pulling the wires out and touching

them
together. the amp switched off and will now only switch on for about

5
seconds before turning itself off.
Any advice on a possible fix appreciated.

Cheap amp, no output circuit protection, likely output transistor(s)
blown.

Richer Sounds are the only UK dealer and have a good, effective, and
not too expensive Service Dept. They'll also lend you a replacement
whilst yours is being repaired.
