Default Dynavox VR70-E again, again!

I like the idea of people thinking that valves are something new:-))

:-)

Tell 'em the truth, they are listening to 100 year old technology which,
in the opinion of many, is still out in front:-)

You can say that again and it's an opinion that is steadily gaining ground,
according to the comix!!!

(I'm almost tempted to count the pages featuring valves in the January 2005
HFN I've just got - must be getting on for 50%!!)

On the tweek front, Ive no plans for the minute exept put a 10Ohm
resister in line with the led as its too bloody bright and Im too much
of a tart to be happy with black leccy tape over it!!

Bugger that, just rub the LED over a bit with a blue felt tip pen! ;-)'

Is the LED powered from the heater circuit?
If so it may have a 330 Ohm resistor.
I find a LED drawing 20mA is far too bright, and distracts from the
glowing bottles. Adding 100 Ohm will not make much improvement.
I use 1k2 . That's mellow:-)

Well, you can see the LED in question in this wobbly snap:

which has been on my Show N Tell page

http://www.apah69.dsl.pipex.com/keith_g/show/show.htm

for a while now (along with a load off assorted other snaps - some related
to these amps) and I reckon you've got to look hard to spot the LED with all
the other nice little glowing bits beaming away!! ;-)

OK, make that two goes with the felt tip then......
