If this was 1959 instead of 2004, and I hadn't have been so dependent on
vinyl at the time, this might even look interesting.

Obviously, these turkeys are playing the nostalgia card for all its worth,
as then-modern equipment designed in 1959 would have probably used the 7-pin
and 9-pin variations of the valve types used here, instead of octal
war-horses.

6SN7s were still used in new home audio equipment designs in 1959, but
primarily for phase-splitters in power amps.
