I think part of the guy's problem is that, in his case, 'out of puff'

Well, I know Keith has had problems, and has more experence of this than
me, but I find that "he" is fine if you use "him" for getting components,
I suspect its the more involving things that he offers to do (to be
helpful) that don't happen, as I suspect "he" offers more than "he" can
do.

I spent about a hour last night chatting about all sorts of things,
started with valves, ended up talking about guitarists. Nice chat, but
maybe not what he should be doing when there are orders to fill. I don't
know. I ended up ordering 8 resistors for all that, which "he" didn't
bothe charging me for. But then again last time, the bill was £130, so it
comes around.

I just know, I will use "him" whenever I can, just because of "his"
know-how and interest.



He's a very nice chap and is good fun to natter to, but he just don't come
up with the goods on time (many broken *promises* now) and communications
can be a nightmare, due to his odd hours.

I'm not saying 'don't use him' - I'm just withdrawing my previous
recommendations and more or less saying 'find out for yourselves'.....
