From what I've heard of some pretty expensive '5 channel' speakers,
they're more about looks than sound quality.

And I'll be confirming this tomorrow at a friends place when I hear again
the 15 *thousand* pound AV setup with sounds by IIRC Linn, which replaced
an ancient Armstrong amp and Rogers speakers that sounded miles better.

Ok, the huge front projection pictures are nice. Pity the sound didn't
match them.

Couldn't you simply add some extra speakers for the rear?
