Not in any way comparable to Yorks, in case you were wondering.
Hi Stewart
It was the size thing that interested me. I just wondered who these
days woiuld have room for such things?
I do, but I don't live in a new build.
In the next few years as retirement beckons (we are already virtually
empty nesters) I reckon that we will have to go for a smaller more
modern house and the Yorks might have to go then for that reason
alone.
Keep looking around, you might find an older property with few rooms,
but big 'uns! Barn conversions are usually good that way.
You're being a bit harsh on the big Leaks Stewart! I know the sound of
the 2075s and with a cross-over update they sound very good; better than
a TLS80 IMO. (although when I used to use TLS50s, I always preferred
those to the larger TLS80.)
They don't go that loud though, compared with a similar size box
containing a 15" Tannoy Monitor Gold for example.
