all the foam has disintergrated, and there was a small pin in the mid

What foam? The drivers look ok in the photo.
The glue on the surround is not a problem but it's not obvious
what the discoloration is on the woofer.

The cabs would make half decent subs for an HT system with a bit of
internal bracing and bituminous damping.
