My last couple of orders from Amazon for classical CDs took nearly
four months and over a month respectively. An order placed at the
start of September has an estimated delivery window extending to the
end of October. This is a lot worse than their performance in earlier
years.

Other suppliers do not seem to be any better, so I suspect that the
problem lies with the record companies or distributors.

Another supplier you could consider is Musica.
(http://www.musica.co.uk/), although their site is refusing
connections as I write.
