Default acceptable portable powered computer speakers

I have a pair of Cambridge Soundworks Creative SBS52 loudspeakers
which came with a Compaq PC I purchased in 1999 (I now use them with
a more recently purchased Dell). They are absolutely excellent little
speakers (the hi-fi loudspeakers that I use with my main stereo system
are ATC Active 10s, and I also own a pair of B&W 805 Matrix 805Vs,
so I do know a decent pair of loudspeakers when I hear them).

They are now discontinued to the best of my knowledge but thousands
of pairs were sold, so you may be able to pick up a pair second hand,
or on eBay, or in old stock somewhere. The SBS52 model name may have
been re-used I think, but the ones I am referring to look like this:
