Buy a new radio. DAB isn't bad.

Oh yes it is! Don't waste your money. Buy a good FM tuner and fit a good
outdoor aerial.

If you are content to listen to a portable radio you might find DAB
acceptable on some channels, but if you listen to it through a decent
amplifier and loudspeaker you will hear what it really sounds like and you
will be very disappointed.
