Definitely a factory fit job! OTOH, I fitted an Alpine changer to my
A4 for £150, and it took about half an hour - including metal-bashing

Forget using a changer. Get a head unit with an aux input and use
a hard drive mp3 player. My 20G player holds just under 400 albums.
