I have invited you on a previous occasion to visit a session.
But you seem to prefer to hurl abuse from a safe distance:-((
On the occasions between delurking in here I've witnessed Pinkerton
launch
many verbal (well, ASCII anyway) attacks on people. In this thread,
because I dared to state that I clearly heard a difference between two
types of cable I'm apparently "arrogant"...
To coin a phrase, "you ain't seen nothin' yet" !!
The guy clearly has issues. He's found himself a home in my killfile on
this particular thread, so he can go and content himself with listening
to
teenybopper music recorded on unbranded Type I cassettes with no noise
reduction, through a midi system with speakers connected with bell wire,
whilst fantasising about molesting under-age sheep.
He has launched the same verbal attacks on many, including
John Byrns, and Patrick Turner, two of the most
knowledgeable people in the field of audio on Usenet.
So you are in very good company:-))
I hope that Stewart will accept my invitation, and look
forward to welcoming him on a recording session in
the very near future.
Caveat:
Our technical engineer vows that he will bind
Stewart's mouth with duct tape if he opens it
when the red light it on.

Mmmm should really be second nature to anyone in that industry. When
broadcasting there were times when the on-air studio seemed like Piccadilly
circus, folk coming and going for multitudinous & legitimate reasons,
sometimes guests having a tour or hourly news readers, sometimes the next
presenters in just for a chat... but as soon as a mic opened (red light)
everyone automatically shut up & froze. An automatic reaction acquired
quickly by newbies through necessity or a very thick ear!!!
