Too right! Used to be a 20 mile journey. They put it right next to a
Homebase...
I've never bin in one - Swim travelled to a Homebase the other day looking
for the *right* door handles and said it was rubbish. (Virtually a furniture
store..??)
Got the *exact* door handles we wanted on eBay for chump change a few days
later!! 60s style in absolutely perfect/unopened/unused condition, see:

In fact, actually not 60's *style'*- they *were* the bloody 60's!! The box
was/is postmark dated 1962!!

Find their 'reduced to clear power tools bin and keep an eye on it,
but watch they don't have the same stuff for the same price in the
ordinary shelves! I turned me nose up at a nifty-looking belt sander
for 16 nicker a while back and have been kicking myself ever since!!
(The buggers go up to over 200 quid in the 'normal' shelves!!)
I will keep an eye on it, but I think I'll have to wait until they're
clearing stuff out - it only opened a few days ago. :-)
They'll damn soon have one on the go, never fear!
Mind yiu, a few weeks/months ago I got a 'reduced' set of 5 power tools '49
reduced to 29 quid' - next time I was in, the 'normal' rack was full of the
same thing all at 29 quid!! (Never seen the likes of that sander agin
tho'.....)
Popped into the local charity shop and picked up 6 CDs, including 4
classical, for 50p each. :-)
A 'double good' day then!! :-)
And spent some of the weekend finalising the router table design...
