match, as most belts are sold this way. companies like Molgar have a
catalogue with belt sizes which most shops use.

Best idea is to get the correct replacedment, if you can. Otherwise,
remember that the old belts will be very stretched compared to new ones.
After all, they are only being replaced because they don't work properly, so
getting new ones that are just like the old ones is not a good idea. But
if you get belts that are too short, it will be difficult to fit them and
they might tend to roll off the pulleys.
