Default cartridge rebuild

Dear Chris
Yes it is possible to have the cartridge re cantilevered, I can't comment on
the companies mentioned but I had my Kieseki PHS repaired when the sapphire
cantilever snapped. Might even be possible to straighten with the right
tools.

Good luck

My Arkiv is starting to sound rather rough. Before I bought it it had

been
rebuilt by the Expert Stylus Company, so I was ready to send it back to
them for another overhaul. But, I've also had "the Cartridge man"
recommended to me.

Does anyone have any good or bad experience with either of these? Is

there a
limited number of times it's worth having a rebuild done? Any opinions
gratefully received. I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, and I
certainly can't afford a new MC cartridge.

thanks

Rob

I've also got a half-decent MC cartridge with a slightly bent
cantilever. (An AT-OC9). I've kept it to use as a part-exchange if I
ever need to buy another cartridge. Are you saying there's a company
that can re-cantilever these things, or is it just re-stylusing them?
