Default Warfedale speaker repair ?

In news mick typed:

I've been looking for replacement foam surrounds for a couple of
pretty old 10" Peerless drivers. Not much in the uk is there? I
considered getting some from the states, but of course no-one
specifies that a particular size is suitable for Peerless drivers -
I've no idea how generic they are.

As you say, nothing much in the UK. I found plenty of US sites selling foam
and rubber surrounds but none for my speakers, which have cone diameter 247
mm (9,72") The closest was 9.5" You may have better luck with your drivers.

I'm also thinking replacement drivers as an alternative but as I don't have
the original specs I'm unsure about what to look for. Apart from physical
dimensions all I know is that the voice coil is 5 ohm and that they were
considered to be near top of the range units at the time. They are hefty
die-cast units with massive magnets and voice coils around 4 " diameter.

Good luck with your Peerless drivers.
