My brother is running a Sempron at the mo. Nice chip. Runs linux well but
I can't recommend any other (inferior) OS, obviously!

I have linux on one machine - it is nothing but a file server and
never gets switched off or rebooted. Total stability for about nine
months so far. I wouldn't use it on a machine I actually want to "do"
things with, though.
