Default Power for MP3 Carputer

In article ,
says...
I've got my custom software running fine, and all the hardware waiting to
go, but I'm having difficulty getting an inverter for the PC that doesn't
put noise on the audio system.

Anyone know a good inverter / DC to DC ATX supply distributor in the UK for
this type of application?

Cheers,

Useful if you are going the Mini_ITX route.

I've used an inverter, and gotten rid of most of the noise using good
grounding everywhere Motherboard, PSU, Screen casing metal, Inverter
case (not the - (negative) connection of the inverter) but grounding the
case.

Still have some crackle left but think that is actual FM noise caused by
a cheap modulator, hopefully will be trying a decent AUX in CD headunit
in the next week or so.
