Default Fitting a Sony CD changer

Thanks

I've identified with a voltmeter the 12V perm and ignition pins in the
mutliplug going into the radio. Is it OK to just crimp the wires into these
connections i.e. will it take the extra load from the CD Changer.

Here is what you need,

RED - 12V IGN
YELLOW - 12V PERM
BLACK - EARTH.

You will find these at the rear of the radio or the fuse box.

I have a Seat Alhambra fitted with a Ford 2007 unit and have been given a
Sony CDX-605 changer along with a remote RF output controller (51RF). I
believe I should be able to get the RF unit to work through the aerial
socket of the existing head unit but have no instructions on wiring the
power up and I have no expertise. There are three wires on the RF unit:
Red, yellow and black. I have absolutely no idea where to put these but
I'm sure this should be fairly simple. Please help.
