I have the above kenwood hu.

Radio and features all work fine, but the thing refuses to play cassette
tapes. (I know there old, but so am I)
Stripped it down and all seems fine with mechanism. Think it may be the
head.

Know where i can get it repaired, replacement parts, diagnosis confirmed?

The Alpine (old and cassette flavour too) i'm using at the moment has a
tendancy to flash/flicker.
(Placed on direct battery line (fused of course) but still flickers)
The kenwood was perfect except for this small problem.
(want this for all the traffic and news toys that the alpine doesn't have)


If i can get it fixed, i'll be looking for a cd changer for it.

any help appreciated.

(could really do with cassette capability)


My cousin is looking to swipe this kenwood from me but he'll probably end up
with the alpine when i upgrade soon.
