Fitting a Blaupunkt Modena CD53
In article ,
says...
Either you have power on the illum wire when you shouldnt, or in the DSC you
have the illumination set to "always on".
Does your aerial have a built in booster which now for some reason isnt
getting power from the Blau?? This would give poor FM reception...
Mine is good, although FM lock on some channels isn't as good as I had
hoped...
DSC? On the Blaupunkt menu didn't see anything about illumination
settings, other than a mention in the manual about wiring in
illumination to the dash dimmer?
The standard Saab way to power the radio is always live, rather than
ignition switched. Both of the others I had in both powered down apart
from maybe a small light on the PWR or SRC switch to see where to switch
back on.
The Antenna is a decent automatic powered one. The Antenna remote works
fine. And the Antenna raises to it's full extent.
