well a friend of mine just got his 383 and says that there are no pauses
between tracks. i trust his opinion since we both saw the sony unit that WAS
slow together. im not sure about initial loading though.


I had a 113n CD HU. Not bad for the money, but seeing as I paid £99, not
great to what the current MP3 are going for.

Found the tuner a particular strong point on Panasonic HU's and sound
quality wasn't bad for the budget end, without external amps.
