Clearly scam. If I tried, I could probably find several hundred very
similar emails from people who'll 'arrange collection with their own
shipping agent'. We tend to see two or three a week most weeks. They
all seem to be written in the same form of bad English, and regularly
use non-English terms - ie. you won't normally hear the term
'cashier's check' in the UK, and if you do, it's a cheque, not check.
Also, if they live in the UK, what's the relevance of the fact they
work here? Again, suggests it's someone doing a bad job of faking that
they're in the UK.
One thing to be aware of - if the cheque is stolen, or relates to an
account that has been set up fraudulently, it will probably clear, but
the bank are likely to send a debt recovery agent after you. The same
can also apply with an electronic transfer.
