Default Audio Input

Hi, The quality of my current headphone jack-to-cassette adapter is poor,
and so I am looking for a car radio that has a line-in, but either I am
not searching for the right phrases, or such a thing doesn't exist. I am
wanting to plug in any such device - walkman, minidisc, portable MP3
player, etc - so that I can listen to it through the car speakers.

Is there such a thing or must I put up with the cassette interface?

TIA.

Theres loads of headunits with line in or "audio in" as i'd call it. You
normally need to buy a lead to go with the headunit which is sometimes
costly this lead then allows rcas to be attatched. With alpine this lead
costs £20 bit i no with sony its over £50.
Dunno how others work but with alpine the lead connects to where the cd
changer would normally connect.
Line ins normally only come on higher end units. Think £150+
